The South Peninsula Jewish Community Needs You! Attend the Jewish Community Forum on October 28. You are cordially invited to the second annual Jewish Community Forum sponsored by the partners in the Campus for Jewish Life: the Albert L. Schultz Jewish Community Center, the Jewish Home and the Jewish Community Federation. RSVP by email.

When: Tuesday, October 28 Where: Cubberley Community Center auditorium (4000 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto) Time: 7:30 -9:00 p.m.

Last year’s forum provided invaluable input to the project planning team, the Jewish Home and the JCC about the community’s needs, priorities, hopes and dreams. Don’t miss this chance to:

  • See the first 3-D model of the Campus for Jewish Life and get the inside story on how it is taking shape.
  • Help guide the South Peninsula Jewish community’s future by providing your input and seeing how the input from last year’s community forum is reflected in the current plan.
  • Learn how to support CJL in the public approval process during the critical months ahead.
  • Thanks to All Who Visited Us at the Street Festival! CJL was a major sponsor of this year’s To Life! Jewish Cultural Street Festival and welcomed a steady stream of community members to its booth throughout the day. Visitors wanted to know more about our progress and plans, including how soon they can look forward to a brand new JCC and Jewish senior residential development in our community. The current estimate is five years, with the next two years critical to keep the project on track, both in terms of the public approval process and fund raising.

Evan Steirman, seen at left with his dad, David, is eagerly awaiting the enhanced early childhood education programs and expanded family activities that the new JCC will offer.

Special Thanks CJL would like to thank the Steinberg Group for their generous donation of our visual displays for the Jewish Cultural Street Festival, which we will use in other community events and opportunities to increase awareness and support for the Campus.
